Splicecom reports installed base migration to cloud voice is gaining momentum
Customers transitioning their existing on-premises systems to cloud or hybrid solutions accounts for 10% of sales
Splicecom, the channel focused voice solution provider, reports that customers transitioning their existing on-premises systems to cloud, or blended cloud/on-premises solutions, accounted for 10% of the British company’s sales over the past 3 months.
“Our totally independent position on voice service and solution deployment – in the cloud, on-premises, or any blend of the two – gives us an ideal position to see exactly where customer demand is at the moment” says Robin Hayman, Director of Marketing & Product Management at Splicecom.
From Splicecom’s perspective, four key markets have emerged:
- Smaller businesses taking voice in the cloud as a service
- Small to medium sized businesses making outright purchases of on-premises virtual voice solutions
- Larger customers migrating from on-premises solutions to cloud services or blended cloud/on-premises services/solutions
- Long standing on-premises customers upgrading to newer soft/virtual on-premises solutions
“The launch of our SelectVoice 1000 platform has been the call to action for our partners to update all their Splicecom customers on how they can get even more out of their existing systems” stated Stuart Bell, Splicecom’s Head of Sales for the UK & Ireland.
“The most important thing for many is the ability to migrate their existing on-premises Splicecom solutions to the cloud. The growth in those taking this path over the past few months validates both cloud voice as a technology and the ease with which existing Splicecom customers can make the transition to the cloud,” concluded Bell.
