Specialist value-added distributor for Australian unified communications, Mia Distribution, recently announced a new partnership with RingCentral Australia. RingCentral is a leading provider of cloud communications, contact centre, and collaboration solutions worldwide. Going forward, Mia Distribution will be responsible for distributing hardware products to Australian customers that support the cloud communication solutions from RingCentral.

The RingCentral platform gives businesses the tools that they need to work together more efficiently in any environment, from any device. The partnership with Mia Distribution will help RingCentral to continue building on its global strategy to ensure that businesses can achieve excellent employee engagement, business efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

An Important Milestone for RingCentral

The Regional Sales Vice President for the Asia Pacific with RingCentral, Peter Hughes said that the new partnership with Mia Distribution is an essential milestone for the company as it continues to scale across Australia and searches for new ways to extend across the region. Currently, Mia Distribution has the best, most specialised support to offer, as well as the responsiveness that RingCentral needs to ensure that they can provide professional services and third-party logistics to end-users.

With Mia Distribution’s help, RingCentral will be able to quickly and consistently configure and provision the hardware that their customers need in Australia. This will help to create a more inclusive environment for RingCentral’s UCaaS environments. The agreement will give RingCentral customers in Australia the complete and local fulfilment that they need across Australia and throughout international offices for any video hardware and phone handsets included in a RingCentral contract.

Currently, RingCentral provides today’s customers with a wide variety of compatible cordless, desk, receptionist, and conference phone options from leading vendors like Cisco, Yealink, and Poly. RingCentral and Mia Distribution will be working together to provide an automated ordering, provisioning, and fulfilment strategy that gets people up and running quickly. This ensures that all of the handsets included with RingCentral contracts are repackaged, configured, and shipped to the customer ready to start using immediately.

RingCentral customers will also have the option to order additional hardware from Mia distribution through the customer portal too. According to the managing director of Mia Distribution, Brad Milne, there are many benefits involved with using local hardware distribution strategies. Local logistics and stocking allow for shorter lead times for orders. Additionally, Australian customers will be able to access local support when they need it. Mia Distribution already has an extensive relationship with the partner community around RingCentral. Additionally, they can offer the peace of mind that comes with knowing that all hardware shipped is ready-to-use configured, and compatible for the regions being supplied.
