VanillaIP has partnered with PromptVoice to offer new in-queue and on-hold recording services.

The ProMusic solution allows businesses to manage callers’ in-queue and on-hold experience, allowing them to transform the “dead” queueing time into a productive endeavour. End users can use the time to highlight self-service options, promote product upsells or schedule a different message for a different day of the week.

The service is aimed at contact centres and SMBs, enabling businesses to design bespoke in-queue and on-hold music and professionally recorded messages to callers. It offers text-to-speech options and over 200 voice artists available in over 50 languages.

“We immediately saw the market opportunity for this innovative service,” stated Dave Dadds, CEO of VanillaIP.

“The standard queuing experience doesn’t leave a caller with a positive feeling, being able to use this valuable time to deliver benefits to the organisation is a step change that we think most businesses can benefit from.”

End users can manage the service through and online portal and message changes go live in real-time, bypassing delays or dependency on the IT department. VanillaIP’s partners can build on the service with a white label, light-touch solution.

Anthony Buxton, CEO of PromptVoice, added: “ProMusic, powered by PromptVoice, is a new concept for the telecoms channel and brings exciting and powerful new features to an area of the telephony caller experience that has changed little in 20 years. With ProMusic, all VanillaIP services can sound as good as they work!”
