Workplace from Meta (previously Facebook) has revealed two new integrations for Microsoft Teams.
Users will now be able to access content stored in Workplace from within Teams, avoiding the need to switch back and forth between the two applications.
Workplace also announced that users will soon be able to stream Teams meetings directly into Workplace groups. This feature will be available in early 2022.
Ujjwal Singh, Head of Workplace, said: “This news deepens the relationship between Microsoft and Meta.
“Last year, Workplace jointly committed with Microsoft to bring together tools to help our mutual customers securely connect, collaborate and communicate”
Existing integrations between the two platforms mean that users can integrate Workplace with SharePoint, OneDrive and the Office 365 platform.
Microsoft Teams will also soon be available on Meta’s Portal devices.

Earlier this year, Meta launched its virtual reality collaboration app – Horizon Workrooms.
