All current Verizon customers will be able to access communication offerings in over 50 countries using Toll or Toll-free numbers through Call-in, or Call-Me numbers. Additionally, users will have the option to connect to Zoom meetings from Verizon wireless phones or VoIP solutions. They can also access just the audio portion of their Zoom meetings through Verizon VoIP offerings for no extra charge. Verizon is managing the service, which means that customers can access Zoom without having to pay for additional dedicated staff or support.

Verizon experts are also going to be available for user adoption, technical support, and training. As businesses across the globe grow more dependent on solutions and tools that provide agility, reliability, and intuitive performance, ease of use and accessibility are crucial to video collaboration. This encourages greater engagement for employees across the enterprise. According to the SVP of Business Products for Verizon, Shawn Hakl, the mission of the company is to give businesses the solutions suite they need to transform their results. The decision to add Zoom to the team as a collaboration partner will help business customers to get technology that drives both performance benefits and ease of use.

The CEO for Zoom, Eric S Yuan, said that the new agreement with Verizon is an example of the company’s strategy to work with leading global service providers to extend the reach of the company worldwide. This also allows Verizon customers from SMBs to enterprise environments to enjoy innovative and reliable video communications in a best-class network.

Today’s organisations and businesses searching for video-first, cloud-based collaboration offerings will benefit from adding this solution to their consideration list, according to IDC research manager, Amy Lind. Verizon’s onboarding and call quality will bring excellent benefits to Zoom’s already impressive technology.
