Global market leaders in UCaaS, BroadSoft, have been unveiling a range of updates to their product portfolio lately, during their annual “BroadSoft Connections” conference. Recently, the team confirmed that they would be enhancing their BroadSoft Business “Team-One” application for workplace collaboration.

Team-One is already involved in successful trials with around 135 service provider customers, delivering improved team collaboration experiences for the masses. By integrating Team-One with a range of BroadSoft UC features, the company hopes to accelerate and optimise team workflows.

The Latest Changes to BroadSoft Team-One

When combined with other BroadSoft strategies like BroadSoft Hub and BroadSoft Meet, the Team-One application can give enterprises a more advanced solution for end-to-end collaboration. Thanks to the recent upgrade to meeting features, guests and users will be able to access HD audio and video conferencing solutions, along with screen sharing strategies within the Team-One app.

Workspace meetings can be started with one click, simplifying the path to real-time collaboration, and improving efficiency regardless of what devices teams are using, or where they might be located. Thanks to the “Smart Guest Access” feature, open and cross-company communication may be simpler too. Workspace members can invite guests into the meeting by entering their email, making it easier for vendors and external customers to take part in file sharing experiences, live meetings, and group conversations.

Fortunately, better access to meetings doesn’t have to mean compromising on security. Access is still restricted to specific workspaces and preset permissions. That means that anything you share through third-party solutions like Dropbox, or Google Drive will retain the security measures of that storage option.

Clever Global Workplaces with Team-One

Another way that BroadSoft has managed to improve their Team-One experience, is by implementing a stronger integration with the BroadSoft Hub solution. With the Hub implementation, Team-One workspaces will give professionals access to all the “content-in-common” that might be relevant to them within the network. This means that teams have more instant access to all the content shared between workspace members.

The introduction of efficient and secure filters, combined with AI search capabilities could potentially save teams more time when they’re looking for important content on the go. This could ultimately make the Team-One application even more effective for users within the BroadSoft Business portfolio – which is now available in more than 30 countries.

Multinational enterprises can access more secure collaboration facilities in a range of languages through a single and simplified platform. Team One applications across mobile and desktop platforms are available in Spanish, French, and German, along with four upcoming languages yet to be released by BroadSoft.

The hope is that these new updates to the BroadSoft Business world will give customers access to a more comprehensive strategy for enterprise-ready PBX, team collaboration, and unified communications in the cloud.
