Nureva Inc, innovators in audio conferencing solutions, recently announced that the Nureva HDL300 system for audio conferencing is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms. Following stringent testing from Microsoft, the HDL300 system emerged as the first speaker/microphone combo bar to be certified for larger meeting spaces, up to 4.5 x 8.5 metres.

The technology, powered by Microphone Mist technology, fills rooms with 8,192 virtual microphones, so participants can move around freely, maintain physical distance, and still not compromise on audio quality. Traditional systems for audio conferencing required a DSP and complex installation. However, that isn’t the case with the HDL300. There’s no complicated calibration or requirements for exhausting setup processes.

The HDL300 system hangs on a wall with 2 screws and connects to a computer using Teams software via USB. Everything calibrates automatically from there.

Quick and Easy Microsoft Teams Meetings

Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the Microsoft Teams environment has become a hub of communication and collaboration for enterprises and educational facilities. Teams earned more than 115 million daily active users by the end of October, and 230,000 educational institutions too. As those numbers grow, reliable conferencing that’s easy to manage and implement will continue to be essential in any IT strategy supporting collaboration.

The HDL300 gives Teams customers a certified device option designed to meet their growing needs. According to Nureva CEO, Nancy Knowlton, as the global adoption of Teams grows, the need for reliable audio conferencing solutions does too. Nureva is thrilled that the HDL300 is the first speaker/microphone bar to be certified for large Microsoft Teams meeting rooms.

Creating Immersive Interactions

According to Senior Director of Teams Devices Partner Certification and Engineering, Albert Kooiman, the fast transition to hybrid working models and learning strategies has created a new demand for solutions that make it easier to fully support the needs of teams in various spaces. Nureva’s HDL300 system provides a quick and easy way for employees to access the meetings they need.

More than just innovative, the technology benefits from being exceptionally easy to install and use – perfect for the evolving collaboration landscape.

With Nureva technology and Microsoft Teams, companies of all sizes will be able to enable more immersive meeting room experiences for the age of remote and distant working. Albert noted that Microsoft is excited to see how the Nureva HDL300 technology delivers the incredible speaker and audio performance that today’s business leaders demand for exceptional meetings and teamwork.
