Sennheiser Presence UC/UC ML Review
Read our review of Sennheiser’s new Bluetooth Earpiece
The Sennheiser Presence UC/UC ML is the German multi-national’s latest wireless Bluetooth ear piece headset designed to improve agent efficiency and prove hands free support for users on the go.
As the brands latest offering in its Bluetooth ear piece range, Sennheiser claim the Presence UC/UC ML offers much greater flexibility for the agent and delivers unparalleled, market-leading sound quality to every call – but how much truth is there in these claims?
In order to find out, we’ve decided to review the product and test how well it lives up to Sennheiser’s sterling reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of high quality audio equipment.
How does it look?
Subtle in size yet exquisitely designed, the black/silver coloured headset is built to sit comfortably on the ear to allow agents to engage in business conversations without the hindrance of wires or headbands. Easily transportable and comes with its own carry case (not included with Business model) that fits easily into the pocket or briefcase as the agent travels from place to place.
Having said that, it also comes with an attachable headband for those who prefer that extra support and a charging dock that can be used intermittently between calls to ensure the device is always powered and ready to go when you are.
Available in three versions – PRESENCE UC (with carry case), PRESENCE UC ML (with carry case) and PRESENCE Business (without carry case).
What can it do?
All three versions offer innovative Speakfocus technology that works to deliver crystal clear sound during every agent’s call regardless how noisy the office environment is around them. Moreover, the Speakfocus technology cuts through loud traffic so agents can enjoy clear conversations whilst driving without needing to loosen their concentration on the road.
Ideal for UC applications, the Presence UC/UC ML offers multi connectivity through for seamless transitions between softphones, smartphones and tablets, effectively combining the in-office headset with a mobile headset.
Another useful feature, especially for those who drive a convertible, it the impressive WindSafe technology that blocks out the noise of strong winds and allows users to continue their business calls without interruption from the elements.
As a tool built to enhance UC experience, the Presence UC/UC ML is fully compatible with leading UC platforms such as Skype for Business, Cisco, Avaya and IBM and functions on a plug and play basis that requires no time-consuming installations.
