For the busy business professional Yealink have produced their latest phone range the Yealink SIP-T5 Smart Media Phone Series, encompassing the power of the Android operating System. Including the SIP-T58V, SIP-T58A and SIP-T56A the range is designed to enable productivity-enhancing visual communication with the ease of a standard phone.

This brand new release from Yealink did not disappoint when we got our first look, combining simplicity of use with sophistication of features. Desk or wall mounting options allows them to be positioned in various locations and so should appeal to a wide spectrum of potential users.

All three have a simple push button keypad layout together with a large full colour, touchscreen LCD which shouts out ‘ease-of-use’.

The SIP-T58V, SIP-T58A and SIP-T56A all have the standard features you would expect from a business phone, and more.

Yealink T58 and T56 Key Features

Every endpoint in the range is based on the Android 5.1.1 operating system, with both the SIP-T58V and SIP-T58A featuing a seven-inch adjustable multi-point touchscreen; the range-topping SIP-T58V features a two megapixel HD video camera (CAM 50) as standard. The CAM 50 can be optionally added to the midrange SIP-T58A for full video communication.

The entry-level SIP-T56A, is a competitive smart audio phone with a seven-inch non-adjustable touchscreen.

All phones have built-in Bluetooth, WiFi, 27 memory keys, 2 USB ports and support either wired or wireless USB headsets. All have Gigabit ethernet and support up to 16 SIP accounts per device.

The T58V and T56V both support video H.264 calling, with the addition of the optional CAM 50 on the T58A, and all have full HD speech. 3-way video calling is supported on suitably-equipped endpoints and all three support 5-way audio conferencing.

The Yealink SIP-T5 Smart Media Phone Series strikes a remarkable balance between ease-of-use and powerful features, offering an all-in-one communications solution for today’s busy users.

UC Today Opinion

The fact that the Yealink SIP-T5 Range operates on the Android 5.1.1 operating system means you can use third party apps to boost the organisation and collaboration of your enterprise. It also leads to a smoother operating experience with easy connection of apps and accessories.

Small, medium or large organisations would benefit from any device in the T5 Series and in particular the Yealink T58V, allowing easy inter-department communications whether it be via voice or video. The touchscreen throughout the range enables intuitive communication whether it be via video (on video-equipped T58 devices) or via plain old or audio.

We were really impressed by the functionality and ease-of-use of the Yealink T58V, T58A and T56 and think you will be too. Let us know your thoughts and comments below.
