By incorporating the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform into its upcoming ClickShare solutions, Barco is leveraging an Android-based framework that enables device manufacturers and software developers to drive innovation. Supported by Microsoft’s trusted security, management, and reliability, this collaboration will further enhance ClickShare’s signature ease of use and user experience, reinforcing its commitment to delivering seamless collaboration solutions for customers and partners.
This was followed by the even more momentous news that Microsoft had added Lenovo, MAXHUB, Shure and AudioCodes as new MDEP partners at Ignite in November.
Microsoft stressed these new partnerships enhanced the platform’s capabilities, accelerating the delivery of innovative devices to market. By fostering collaboration, Microsoft states that MDEP is positioned as the leading choice for developing the next generation of smart, secure, and interconnected devices.
