BICS, an international enabler of communication experiences, recently announced the arrival of some new solutions within its portfolio of programmable communications tools. The new voice APIs will support companies in enhancing customer experience with reliable audio experiences.

The voice APIs feature allows organisations to easily customise and adapt communication services to suit their individual environments, ensuring better flexibility for scaling and business transformation. This is just the most recent addition to BICS portfolio of excellent products in voice, mobile data, and IPX, and it strengthens the company’s position as a CPaaS provider.

Currently, the CPaaS environment is growing at an exceptional rate. Demand for more flexible, cloud-based experiences has grown significantly since the pandemic of 2020. The CPaaS marketplace is now set to reach a value of $26bn by 2026. Despite this, some companies still have fragmented, siloed communication channels, which hinder excellent customer engagement.

Aligning the Communication Ecosystem

BICS is a global communication “enabler,” promising solutions which support the modern workforce, including the growing demand for flexible voice technology. Many providers often struggle to provide global connectivity for their clients, but this isn’t the case with BICS. The brand stands as one of the key global voice carriers in the world, and its suite of programmable communications solutions are a compelling option in the market.

Underpinned by BICS’ powerful network, the programmable communications offerings connect over 200 countries, with unrivalled customer connectivity. Features range from reliable anti-fraud capabilities to encryption and regulatory compliance. BICS’ ownership of its own network ensures better end-to-end security for all enterprises.

BICS notes that even as the communication landscape changes, voice is essential. Audio is still an important feature for factors like two-factor authentication, which enables secure communication within customer service centres.

Enhancing Digital Communication

The BICs collection of programmable communication tools already includes numbers-as-a-service, 350 SMS messaging routes, and more within 120 countries. Adding voice to the mix gives brands access to a fully holistic way of tailoring their communication services.

According to BICS, digital communications has been a static environment for too long, with many companies purchasing specific tools that demand integrating support. APIs offer a more flexible approach to growth. Companies can now use CPaaS solutions and APIs to build the perfect bespoke communication experience, with help from BICS.
