Richard Roberts joins Mitel to drive Channel growth across Europe

Following on from a highly successful year that saw Mitel complete their acquisition of ShoreTel, the businesses comms leaders today announce the appointment of Richard Roberts as Vice President for UK, Ireland and EMEA Channels.

Working alongside recently appointed SVP, EMEA, Jeremy Butt, Roberts has joined the Mitel team as part of the brands big push to drive Channel growth across Europe, increase their support for channel partners through their digital transformation and to maintain their position as leaders within the European market.

With over two decades of experience working within sales, product management, marketing and business development within the technology industry, Roberts brings a wealth of skills to the table and will be a key component in driving Mitel forward into the future.

As former leader of EMEA Sales and Worldwide Channels Business at Purple, Roberts has a proven history of enabling customers to monetise their venues and facilities by using WiFi analytics and spent 14 years with Cisco Systems, helping build out the organisation’s UK channel business, later holding a number of senior positions at the company.
