Texas-based Tango Networks recently announced their acquisition of Simetric Telecom, a Leeds-based mobile services and telecommunications provider.

Founded by John Murray and Gavin Sweet in 2009, Simetric offers intelligent next-generation communications that blends mobile services and fixed communications into a platform for unified telecoms. The Mobile-X service from Simetric delivers converged mobile communications to enterprises that encompass a comprehensive communication feature set.

The acquisition of Simetric by Tango Networks will lead to the creation of a global portfolio of mobile communication solutions, specifically suited to the demands of the growing remote workforce.

Support for the Mobile Workforce

The combined offerings by Tango Networks and Simetric will be the first to seamlessly integrate mobile-native solutions for data, text, and voice communications with enterprise-level applications and telephony. This innovation will give enterprise customers a complete answer for global and ubiquitous communications.

Recently, Tango Networks launched the first enterprise mobile communications service powered by the cloud, known as “Kinetic Cloud.” This system offers mobile unified communications services, along with mobile communications recording, automated application integration and enterprise level text messaging.

Combined, Tango Networks and Simetric will be able to better serve a community of hosted communications providers, large businesses, telecom resellers and more with a comprehensive range of communications services for enterprise mobility.

Taking Service Offerings to a New Level

According to the Managing Director of Simetric, Gavin Sweet, joining forces with Tango Networks will allow the company to raise their service offerings and take their market reach to a new level. The company has always been committed to delivering innovative services to the modern workforce through enhanced unified communication experiences for customers. With Tango Networks, Simetric is now positioned to truly make a difference in the “mobility revolution.”

The CEO of Tango Networks, Doug Bartek, also said that the Tango Networks and Simetric combination will create an unmatched portfolio of solutions for enterprise mobile communication solutions. Tango will continue to provide Simetric’s network of resellers and partners with a selection of innovative and reliable services, along with the support they’ve come to expect from the Simetric brand.

Worldwide provider of omnichannel recording, analytics, and quality management solutions ASC has also been announced as a solution partner for the new combined offerings from Simetric and Tango. As more essential business communications occur on mobile devices, the CEO of ASC, Dr. Gerald Kromer, believes that the Tango and Simetric offerings will deliver the mobile flexibility that enterprises need.

Consolidation All Around

Recently, Tango Networks also partnered with leading voice, mobile and data product provider, Gamma, to deliver an advanced range of devices and services in the UK. The Gamma collaboration will allow Tango Networks to provide integrated radio access into the Tango and Simetric platforms for fixed-to-mobile convergence services offered to their platform and wholesale partners.

The Head of Sales for Infrastructure and Cloud at Gamma, Mike Mills, said that he is excited to partner with Simetric Telecom and Tango Networks to support their combined service portfolio. Gamma’s wholesale radio access solution and the Simetric and Tango portfolio will deliver a truly incredible mobile integrated service capability to Gamma’s network of wholesale customers.
