8×8 Takes its Channel Partner Ecosystem Around the World
8x8 goes global with new partnerships
Leading provider of customer engagement and cloud communications solutions 8×8 recently announced that the growth of their channel solution and increased momentum in their partnerships have driven higher adoption of 8×8 services. At the same time, the brand revealed that CRN, one of the brands in “The Channel Company” has named Christopher Peter as one of their prestigious 2018 Channel Chiefs.
The executives on the Channel Chiefs list represent some of the leaders in the IT channel – individuals who excel at driving revenue and growth in their organisation through their work with channel partners.
An Impressive Global Channel Programme
During the last year, 8×8 has been working hard to expand and enhance their global channel program – growing the number of enabled partners with new progress including:
- Accelerated growth with technology service distributors like TBI, Telarus, Intelisys, and Avant
- Extended US relationships with Ingram Micro Cloud, ScanSource, and CDW within the UK and Ireland
- Expanded growth in value-added distribution with ScanSource, Jenne, and Ingram Micro
8×8 also teamed with PCI Pal in the UK, to access a provider of compliant, secure payment solutions. The channel strategy embraced by the company has been fundamental to helping them when business from large enterprises. Following the completion of the third fiscal quarter of 2018, ending in December 2017, 8×8 revealed that six out of their top ten deals were contributed through channel partners. Additionally, overall channel bookings increased by a rate of 50% year-over-year.
Strengthening a Broader Global Footprint
With a vision to become the world’s preferred choice for enterprise communications, 8×8 has been consistently working on expanding their global footprint with the help of their channel partners. According to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise and Midmarket for 8×8, Scott Sampson, channel partners still play a crucial role in taking customer and employee engagement to the next level.
Channel expert Christopher Peters has also played a significant role in ensuring that 8×8’s growth in the channel has gone off without a hitch. In fact, the company believes that Chris has been key to unlocking the full potential of the 8×8 channel programme. The fact that he’s now being recognised as a channel chief by CRN just goes to show how accomplished Peters is in his role.
