A recent survey conducted by BroadSoft found that 89% of all respondents believe native mobile integration to be essential to their business mobile solutions. To meet with the requirements of its customers, BroadSoft has focusing on its abilities to deliver more mobile solutions to the table, and recently confirmed that it would be making some serious changes to its “bMobile” advanced mobility services. According to the latest news, BroadSoft will soon be introducing both Apple Call Kit support and AI (artificial intelligence) capabilities to their UC-One mobile apps for business.

The BroadSoft Study from 2016 also found that 45% of large enterprises will be expected to adopt a Hosted PBX or UCaaS offering by 2020, and new lines for UCaaS should reach 51% by 2020. In this world of constant evolution, BroadSoft believe that enhancing the abilities of bMobile will give companies the opportunity to enhance and re-orient their companies on the mobile platform, while giving mobile operators and service providers the chance to improve their investments and deliver new opportunities from revenue-generating mobile-first UC solutions.

BroadSoft are Putting Customers First

For AI integration purposes, BroadSoft will be soon be offering Hub alongside UC-One connect. Hub is the BroadSoft application that features built-in contextual intelligence for real-time access to notes, files, and content that is relevant to each interaction, which ultimately makes conversations and meetings far more productive. Once UC-One Connect and Hub are aligned, Hub will be able to display and retrieve relevant information from popular cloud solutions like emails, files, social media updates, and more.

At the same time, bMobile will now begin to offer support solutions for UC-One mobile apps and Apple iOS CallKit services. According to a statement released by BroadSoft, the choice to tightly integrate UC capabilities with the iPhone interface is sure to give customers a better mobile experience that focuses on delivering advanced business features and calling solutions from the iPhone.

The newest integration will give companies the chance to answer their UC-One calls using a single swipe when the iPhone is unlocked. Additionally, they’ll be able to prioritise between a VoIP call with UC-One, incoming native calls, and use UC-One mid-call services like transfer, hold, and conference while using their iPhone. If you have an Apple phone, you will even be able to make UC-One calls directly from your contact list.

Enhancing Customer Experience

The latest features from BroadSoft are intended to improve the user experience for mobile workers by meeting the demand of the 89% we mentioned above, who believe the mobile integration is crucial to the productivity of any business. Today, as always, BroadSoft is concentrating their focus on delivering features that make productivity for workers.

According to the chief technology officer for BroadSoft, Scott Hoffpauir, the new bMobile capabilities will help to ensure that BroadSoft can continue to deliver a native and stronger mobile user experience, with multi-identity, multi-device, and advanced business calling features.
