UC Today attended the Cloud Comms Summit 2019 which concluded in Washington earlier in September. The latest iteration of the Cloud Comms Summit is organised by Cavell Group and the Cloud Communications Alliance.

The Cloud Communications Alliance, or CCA, is a fast growing community combining some of the world’s leading cloud communication experts, vendors and strategists. The organisation aims to amplify the power and impact of each member by uniting their influence as a global body. Clark Peterson, Chairman of the Cloud Communications Alliance joins UC Today for a video interview to tell us more about the organisation and its goals.

Peterson explains that the organisation was founded to help individual members learn from each other but also to allow them to lobby bodies that impact their success in communication markets globally. The CCA has been growing rapidly and Peterson explains that although it was founded in the United States the growth in European members was now outstripping that across the Atlantic. Events like the Cloud Comms Summit allow the CCA to gather its members for meetings alongside the summit where they can discuss industry related news and strategies for progressing across the various communication markets.

Watch at your desk, whilst on your commute, or on the sun lounger, UC Today provides bite size videos, bringing you all of the latest communication and collaboration news.
