UC Today were media partners for Yealink and Yeastar Global Roadshow 2019. The London leg of Yealink and Yestar’s world tour gathered together its most valuable partners from the UK channel for a day of portfolio review and industry analysis.

The event took place in a spectacular central London location, HAC Armoury House. Normally home to the Honourable Artillery Company, Armoury House provided the regal setting to host to the Yealink and Yeastar teams as well as over 50 partners from various aspects of the UK channel.

Electronic Frontier, Yealink’s UK distributors, were at the forefront of the event with a huge selection of its partner community in attendance to explore the benefits available by leveraging Yealink and Yeastar solutions. The event consisted of various seminars, and breakouts, providing the attendees gathered with an insight into the strategies for both companies.

Conor McCann, General Manager at Electronic Frontier Ltd, EFL, welcomed the various partners before David Bosley, VoIP Solutions Channel Manager at EFL, took the group through an update of Yeastar’s progress and innovation roadmap. To the surprise of many in the room Bosley revealed that over 100 thousand small and medium enterprises are using Yeastar products globally. This level of uptake makes Yeastar one of the world’s most successful communications providers within smaller businesses. Highlighting the huge value for money available through Yeastar’s solutions, Bosley, appealed to the resellers and service providers in attendance. In an increasingly competitive market providers are looking for new base solutions that can give them the edge in competitive situations.

Yealink took to the floor for the following session reviewing its global market progressions and penetration. Rachael Huang, Yealink Channel Sales Director for the EMEA, highlighted the 40% growth that Yealink have experienced since 2017. This rapid expansion reinforces its position as one of the leading IP and SIP endpoint manufacturers globally.

One of the reasons behind this impressive growth is Yealink’s specialisation with specific communication platforms. Yealink has capitalised on the rising popularity on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft’s collaboration hub by creating bespoke hardware compatible with the platform. Huang explains that its investment in this area allowed it to become the first vendor to fully integrate Microsoft Teams capability across its portfolio of devices.

Once the day’s analysis, education and networking activities were completed. EFL, Yealink and Yeastar treated the partners to an afternoon’s urban golf locally in central London.
