Avaya UK’s Customer Experience Centre, CEC, is located in Guildford and it was the latest destination for the UC Today team so we could bring you exclusive inside access.
The CEC has been designed and built to provide Avaya’s customers with the opportunity to experience cutting edge technology in real world deployment scenarios. The centre consists of several areas which demonstrate key aspects of Avaya’s portfolio including; endpoints, huddle rooms and customer experience provision.
While visiting the Avaya’s Customer Experience Centre UC Today caught up with Richard Buckley, who is part of Avaya’s team who utilise the CEC to provide customers first-hand experience with next generation technology provision. Patrick asks Richard to explain the idea behind the centre. Richard also tells Patrick about some of the solutions on display.
Avaya has its full range of hardware endpoints available to demonstrate on site. As well as its full suite of IP telephony hardware, Avaya has also created three bespoke meetings rooms which demonstrate its capabilities in the huddle space. A combination of desktop audio devices and audio visual hardware create solutions that enable simple remote collaboration between staff in meeting rooms and also for remote workers.
Customer experience provision is a key focus for Avaya and a large section of the CEC is dedicated to showcasing some of its solutions in this area. The main presentation room includes high resolution projections which allows Avaya to show customers its variety of contact centre solutions. A large 7 metre video wall is also installed, this visualises the process of connecting the front and back office to enable truly great customer service experiences for end customers.
The Avaya Customer Experience Centre is available for use by both Avaya’s partner and customers for a variety of different objectives.
