ViewSonic has unveiled its next-gen, all-in-one, mobile LED display, intending to offer seamless and sophisticated collaboration.
ViewSonic’s LDS138-151 is a 138-inch, all-in-one Direct View LED Display Solution Kit designed to meet the evolving needs of AV and EdTech environments. Building on the success of its predecessor, the LDS135-151, ViewSonic emphasises that this next-gen model introduces a suite of enhancements that improve usability, portability, and deployment efficiency.

Businesses, schools, and other markets can utilise this mobile solution by easily relocating it from room to room or venue to venue.”
Engineered with mobility and simplicity in mind, the LDS138-151 is pitched as arriving fully assembled to streamline setup and minimise operational disruption. Its integrated motorised stand, which ViewSonic stresses is built to commercial standards, enables seamless height adjustments. Meanwhile, a proprietary hinge mechanism aims to allow for smooth, secure folding and unfolding of the display panels.
ViewSonic adds that the board is protected by an advanced Glue-on-Board (GOB) surface treatment. This means it’s resistant to impact, dust, and moisture and earns IP54 and IK06 ratings for durability.
The vendor notes that its pre-assembled, foldable design eliminates the need for wall mounting. Users can unfold, plug into a standard 20-amp outlet, and power on without requiring calibration or complex installation. Front-accessible LED modules and a vacuum maintenance tool seek to make upkeep easy, while the custom flight case enables transport between classrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
Breaking Down the New Display’s Feature Set in More Specifics
The ViewSonic LDS138-151 essentially features a 138-inch frameless LED display with full HD resolution, 600-nit brightness, a 3840Hz refresh rate, and 120 percent Rec.709 colour gamut for sharp, vibrant visuals. Dual 30W speakers deliver immersive audio.
Its built-in motorised stand enables easy height adjustment, and the display supports picture-by-picture (up to four HDMI sources) and picture-in-picture viewing. With vCast software, users can stream and cast content wirelessly from mobile devices.
Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI 1.4 output, RJ45, RS232, dual-band Wi-Fi, IR receiver, and audio out, making it a flexible, all-in-one solution for high-impact, multi-source environments.
