Zoom has launched Zoom Community to give its users a place to chat and seek support.

The community will create a platform for sharing ideas, learning about products and picking up best practices.

Alexis Brown, Senior Manager of Global Community at Zoom, said: “Being a member of a community can make us feel as though we are a part of something greater than ourselves.

“It can give us opportunities to connect with people, to share common goals, and make us feel a sense of belonging.

“There’s something incredibly special about being a part of a group of people who want to help each other, whether that is socially or professionally. That’s why we’re excited to bring the greater Zoom community together into one space”

The Zoom community will be made up of two types of forum: Product Forums and Industry Forums.

Product Forums will provide a hub where users can ask questions about each Zoom product and get responses from other users and Zoom experts.

Meanwhile, the Industry Forums are dedicated to the healthcare and education verticals specifically.

Users will receive points for helpful comments that they post which will see them climb a leader board and earn rankings and badges.

Zoom recently revealed its approach to hybrid working, saying it has no plans to rush employees back to the office.
