RingCentral and Mitel have launched the first certified devices of their UCaaS partnership.

The pair have revealed that Mitel’s 6900 range is now endorsed for use on RingCentral’s MVP platform.

This includes the 6920, 6930 and 6940 desk phones.

RingCentral said in a blog post: “The Mitel phone experience is important to preserve, and these certifications extend beyond the basic Bring Your Own Device feature set.

“Initial Mitel and RingCentral certification include advanced features that empower hybrid teams with integrated, easy-to-use features such as assisted provisioning integration, Busy Lamp Field, call recording, common phone (hot desking), analytics, and many more.”

The announcement comes after RingCentral and Mitel revealed a partnership at the end of last year.

The tie-up will see Mitel refer all customers that want to migrate to UCaaS to RingCentral, with Mitel focusing on traditional UC and hybrid deployments.

Earlier this year RingCentral revealed that it was seeing early success in the partnership, contributing to revenue growth of more than one-third.
