Owl Labs has announced the release of a new Lenovo-powered 360° Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR-W) solution.

Made in collaboration with Lenovo, the device combines Owl Labs’ Meeting Owl 3 and 4+ with Lenovo’s edge ThinkSmart Core and Tiny Kit to create full-room solutions.
Examining the AI-Powered Teams Room
Owl Labs’ collaboration with Lenovo combines the company’s experience designing AV with Lenovo’s expertise in building computing devices designed for collaboration.
This joint offering includes a Meeting Owl 3 or 4+ for 360° in-room video and audio, a Lenovo ThinkSmart Core or Tiny Kit to run Teams Rooms, and a Lenovo Controller (IP or USB) for one-touch meeting control and room management.
By combining a center-of-room innovation with Lenovo’s modular approach, Owl Labs aims to bridge the gap in hybrid meetings by turning BYOD device setups into fully integrated Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Complementing this is the 360-degree view, allowing in-office attendees to be visible to remote viewers regardless of their position relative to the camera.

Owl Labs states they are the first and only 360° standalone device to launch with Lenovo’s MTR-W solutions.
With MTR-W devices built on a more secure, update-ready operating system, organizations gain a future-proof foundation for long-term collaboration.

Kennedy explains.
Equally, Owl Labs’ contribution to the solution, Meeting Owl 4+, recently completed Microsoft Teams certification, joining the Meeting Owl 3 and Owl Bar in meeting Microsoft’s standards.
Available Bundles
Following this collaboration, Owl Labs has paired its devices with the Lenovo computing units.
Available bundles include Meeting Owl 4+ and ThinkSmart Tiny Kit, Meeting Owl 4+ and ThinkSmart Core with Gen 2 USB Controller, and Meeting Owl 3 and ThinkSmart Tiny Kit – £1,770.00.
The bundles are launching in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, and France, and are available through the Owl Labs and Lenovo websites and select suppliers.
