UC and IP PBX software developer 3CX has added SIP trunking to its offering in Ireland by signing a partnership deal Blueface, a local UC services provider.

Following successful interoperability testing, Blueface’s services have now officially been added to the 3CX management console for all partners and clients in Ireland to access. From the drop down menu in the 3CX console, users can simply select Blueface to access call carrier services using the company’s powerful SIP trunk network.

Brian Martin, General Manager at Blueface said:

We are delighted to have partnered with 3CX. Partners are an incredibly important part to our business, in expanding our brand awareness and delivering high quality solutions.

“We have delivered our SIP trunks over 3CX systems since 2005 and have had positive results. We look forward to working closer with 3CX and enabling their partners in Ireland to provide a high quality call solution to their customers.”

Paul Clarke, Channel Manager at 3CX, added: “We are pleased to have successfully completed the interoperability testing between Blueface and 3CX. Blueface offers VoIP provider services of the highest quality, and brings its long experience to the service of 3CX Partners and customers.

“Working together, Blueface and 3CX offer innovative communications to customers across Europe.”

Making use of SIP trunks for call carrier services offers a number of benefits to 3CX users, including six nines reliability (30 seconds downtime on average per year), seamless tier 1 carrier call termination and resilient data centres.

Founded in Dublin in 2004, Blueface has deployed VoIP services in 12 countries and has developed its SIP trunk capabilities to offer SMEs, enterprises, carriers and channel partners high value, high quality UC solutions.

The flagship 3CX product, a software-based, open standard IP PBX that offers out of the box UC functionality, has been a driving force in expanding UC software adoption worldwide. Its simple plug and play functionality and compatibility with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android has attracted a host of major enterprise clients, including American Express, Pepsi, Mitsubishi and Boeing.

Its Partner Programme is an integral part of the 3CX business model, allowing it to extend its reach and add depth to its services in countries around the globe.
