LeapXpert has introduced its Single Professional Identity feature to its platform to unify business communications.

Single Professional Identity’s addition to the LeapXpert Communications Platform enables businesses to assign one business phone number per employee on enterprise and personal devices, unifying and overseeing all client communication through voice, SMS, and messaging applications. This allows users to send a message over WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS, WeChat, Telegram, LINE, or place a call through one number.

Dima Gutzeit, Founder & CEO of LeapXpert, said:

Single Professional Identity addresses a critical need in today’s business landscape. Clients want to communicate with their representatives through their preferred channels without any friction. Our product ensures a better experience and responsible communication across all channels.”

The solution originated in the growing demand for professionals to access colleagues and clients through various communication channels, including voice calls, WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS, and Signal. Approved channels frequently require a different application or business phone number, creating time-inefficient friction in the experience of clients and workers alike. App-switching or having to change numbers also can lead to compliance and data governance gaps.

The Single Professional Identity intends to address this issue. LeapXpert described the feature’s impact on its Communications Platform as turning it into the “first to support one business phone number for all compliant messaging, SMS, and calls”.

Communications across all channels through Single Professional Identity are managed and recorded to ensure the service complies with business oversight, data security, and regulatory compliance.

“We are very pleased to have launched this product with some of our top-tier financial institution partners,” added Avi Pardo, Co-founder and CBO at LeapXpert. “Our customers and partners are eager to join this natural evolution of modern communications. We’re helping them unlock communication channels without losing governance, bringing them closer to their clients and increasing business outcomes.”

To enable Single Professional Identity, LeapXpert now provides voice, SMS/MMS, and data connectivity services via the LeapXpert Network, Leap_Work or the Leap Work app in 27 nations. LeapXpert issues eSIM and physical SIM cards to allow voice communication with enterprise-grade calls on a carrier-grade global network. Single Professional Identity can be connected with any mobile or fixed number issued by LeapXpert or ported from former providers.

What Has LeapXpert Been Up To Recently?

Towards the end of last year, LeapXpert released a new consumer messaging app with compliance features and operates using Microsoft Teams.

‘Leap Work’ aimed to improve employee productivity by allowing group chats and messaging with clients on their preferred communication channels through the Teams tenant. The fully-native app, available worldwide through the Microsoft Teams store, was designed to align with stringent communications policies, storing conversations for compliance and proof of business.

Similarly to Single Professional Identity, clients could connect with Leap Work using a variety of communication channels, which include WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS, Telegram, Signal, WeChat, and LINE. Using Leap Work, Teams users can change from messaging to voice calling through the Teams Phone application.

Leap Work was supported by LeapXpert’s platform services, which included data leakage prevention, antivirus and antimalware integrations, information barriers, and ethical walls.

Gutzeit spoke to UC Today at this year’s Enterprise Connect in Spring for LeapXpert’s expert view on the evolution of compliance.

“We’re giving companies access to the ethical walls, information barriers, and enterprise controls they need in environments that don’t natively have their own data leakage protection,” Gutzeit said. “We support whatever channels enterprise employees and clients need, and we provide complete security.”
