Data discovery software vendor X1 has expanded its platform to support Teams and Microsoft 365 applications for optimised eDiscovery and compliance processes.
The X1 Enterprise Collect Platform specialises in index-in-place data discovery software for legal, compliance, governance and investigative requirements.
Organisations such as government agencies, law firms and businesses can now utilise X1’s automated and unified system to target collections of electronically stored information (ESI) from data sources across their organisation, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Mail, Dropbox, and laptops and file-shares. This enables X1 Platform customers to perform the eDiscovery and compliance process seamlessly.

The benefits of X1 Enterprise Collect’s integration with Teams stretch beyond the unified search and collection of on-premise and cloud data sources, such as Teams. These include the capability to target individual custodians and messaging threads, removing the requirement to download channels en masse.
X1 has a patented “index, search and process the data” structure, removing the reliance on further processing services. Functionally, there is a one-click upload into Relativity for review, streamlining the end-to-end process, while the platform is a fully automated solution.

This intends to reduce eDiscovery costs and save time so customers only collect what ESI they need.
