Mitel has launched an MSP-focused model for its MiCloud Connect solution designed to help partners increase cloud adoption in the US and Canada.

The new solution, named MiCloud Connect Partner Managed model, will give certified partners more control over service delivery and management, Mitel said, while boosting MSP’s ability to sell cloud services to their customers.

“Relationships matter. In a transactional and highly digitised world, building long-term, trusting relationships is a key to differentiation and driving business outcomes,” said Scott Peterson, Chief Revenue Officer at Mitel.

“The MiCloud Connect Partner Managed offering is designed to help partners further strengthen their customer connections while affording them more opportunities to grow their own businesses, even as they work to help customers modernise and leverage the cloud to communicate and collaborate in new and different ways”

Mitel designed the model after “extensive” feedback and pilot testing from Mitel partners to ensure the solution provides a seamless, predictable path to the cloud and recurring revenue, regardless of whether the partner is activating new customers or transitioning their existing customer base.

It also enables partners to own the customer relationship, allowing them to bolt more value-added services onto the solutions and take advantage of “enhanced” commissions. Partners also have complete control of sales, marketing, onboarding and support for the MiCloud Connect solution.
